File Download and Upload Instructions for

    Downloading or uploading files to best CAD solutions is now easier than ever. You can drag and drop your files or cut and paste them directly to our site via an internet explorer or Netscape browser window. You will need to contact us for a username and password to insure your privacy and to protect our server.

We have listed below the three primary ways to send us data. Hopefully one of them is right for you.

Option 1: Send your files via email (no size limits).         Email upload here!

Option 2: Internet Explorer or Netscape browser instructions:

a. Obtain a username and password from data@bestCADsolutions.com or call 1-715-247-5827

b. Go to: ftp.bestCADsolutions.com (only click once as it takes a minute to open another browser window).

c. A username and password window will pop up.

   Type in your supplied username and password

   This will put you into an area that has three folders.

d. Drag and drop or cut and paste your files.

   Files going to bestCADsolutions should be put into the drop off folder

   Files being picked up from bestCADsolutions will be located in the pick_up folder

   That's all there is to it. Just give us a call or send us an email to let us know your file is there for pickup and we will go get it.

Each individual company exchanging data with best CAD solution, Inc. has a private link which is not shared with anyone except you. We also password protect the files we zip to you for added security.

Option 3: Advanced user FTP Instructions:

   This procedure requires a file transfer protocol (FTP) program installed on your computer.

   If you do not have an FTP program installed on your computer, you can obtain a free FTP program trial version many places on the internet. We recommend WS_FTP Home. Click here, or Smart FTP Click here to download now!

   Once the program activates it should open two windows. The first window has a double display. Your computer is listed on the left and the right window is blank (until you log in). The second window is named session properties. Fill in the following fields:

Profile name: best CAD solutions, Inc.

Host Name/Address: ftp.bestcadsolutions.com

Host Type: Automatic Detect

User ID: Enter your username and password (in lower case letters).

Hit the OK or enter button: The right hand window of the session properties should bring up a directory structure on our server. Drag and drop the files in whichever direction they are going.

Notes:

1. To change file folders hit the green up arrow or double click on a folder to access it's contents.

2. If your FTP program only comes up with one window initially you may have to click on the connect button to get the main dialog.

3. This all sounds more difficult than it is. It is pretty intuitive if you have used FTP before. If not just give us a call between 8AM and Midnight CST (7 days a week) at 1-715-247-5827 and we will be glad to walk you through the process.
